As an organisation we are a group of people: couples, singles, priests, and religious who develop and promote programmes for couples preparing for marriage, for married couples and for families.
What We Believe About Marriage
We believe that the love of husband and wife is one of the greatest treasures of the Church and of society. It can also be one the most fragile and in need of support in today’s world. When preparing for Marriage there are many things to consider and it can become overwhelming. The Love is for life Trust is here to offer advice and guidance on marriage preparation, marriage growth and support for married couples and families.
What We Are Committed To
Encouraging couples preparing for marriage to aim for all that is best for their life-long commitment, and all married couples to work for health and happiness in marriage and family life.
We give this encouragement in many ways:
- Residential weekend courses for couple preparing for marriage
- Residential weekend courses to support married couples in their efforts to develop their marriages
- Residential Family weekends to build the confidence of family life
- The Movement of Continuous Prayer for Marriage and Family Life to support one another through prayer which is continuous 24/7
- Weekly Couple Prayer and reflection for married couples to help build their love/spirituality
- Together Forever a set of Videos/DVD on which there are 15 talks which a couple can use in their own home or share with a few other couples as an on-going programme of growth in love and understanding
